resistor box

Hey guys i just put my dsm 440 cc injectors in with my resistor box... i got it out of an accord but i just wanted to know how much resistance it should be reading?... i ask this because after i did all this i started it up and when u stomp on the throttle it bogs out and almost dies and when i get moving it wont rev past 4k is this a resistor box problem? or just the fact that im not tuned yet.

if you're trying to use DSM 450cc injectors with a stock ecu, or an ecu that is not setup for 450s, you're car will run like ass, plain and simple.

Your car is now dumping literally twice the amount of fuel as before. Get the ecu tuned and set up for the 450cc injectors and you'll most likely be fine.

I've yet to see a resistor box fail. I've seen people hack up the install causing problems, but never a faulty resistor box.

yea the wiring is all proper... it will be tuned very shortly because my turbo kit is going in next week roughly.... but do you think it will be ok to drive it like that until then?

You need a chip ecu or get a tuner so you can adjust the air/fuel.

Pull the injectors and resistor box out. Put stock injectors in until you have turbo.then drive down to where you will get tune on stock injectors/ecu without getting into boost, once you are there, replace injectors and plug in the resistor box and get it tuned.
