replacing bushings

so i bought a front camber kit for my 01 LS cause one of my balljoints is shot and im tryin to get the car ready for the snow and i dont want my suspension lacking. play in the wheel = bad in the snow.

but im curious. when i go to take my stock UCAs off are the bushings pressed into the UCA or not?

richie Nov 4, 2008 01:50 PM

their are no bushings in the uca.

dsquintz Nov 4, 2008 01:55 PM

...ya i called a dealer and they told me the bushings come already in the UCA...

richie Nov 4, 2008 02:04 PM

they ment the balljoint comes already in the uca.

oh...so there isnt anything in-between the two forks at the end of the wishbone?

richie Nov 4, 2008 02:24 PM

yes,a bushing and the bolt. that is the LCA.

dsquintz Nov 4, 2008 02:29 PM

i work better with pictures haha. see theres bushings in that UCA there

edit: looking at this pic it looks like you just undo the 14mm bolt/nut and those bushings will pop right out?

oh snap.my bad.

dsquintz Nov 4, 2008 02:43 PM

sall good. but they do look just bolted into the forks not pressed. google is being useless for me and only giving sites where i can buy bushings from...

what camber kit did you get? my S2 kit came with the anchors.

those have to pressed in to the anchors. i have those bushings if you need them.

dsquintz Nov 4, 2008 03:01 PM

Blox kit from Option. called em and they said that it didnt come with the bushings. found an article on team integras...ill edit this post and put it up.
