removing the spoiler off my teg
 

i know i know, easiest way is to give it to a body shop and have them remove it, fill in the holes and re-paint it. how about a little lower budget; someone advised me at work to use body filler on the holes that are gonna be left after the spoiler comes off, then sand them a little bit and just use touch up paint. what do you guys think? :confused:

lol you can either get rubber/plastic plugs from homedepot or just try to bondo it up sand it first a bit so its has something to bite to then use touch up paint like you said... if it looks like ---- then take it to a shop gl

sell your old hatch with the spoiler on it and get a CF one :)

If your car is black, the plugs wont really show alot... I think Acura sells the plugs that fit in there, but I could be wrong.

the proper way to do it is to weld in the holes, grind off the excess, fill, sand, prime then paint. i did that on my hatch when i shaved the badges.

grommet plugs are your best bet for a temporary solution.

The money I would spend on patching the holes the proper way, I would rather sell the hatch and use that money towards a CF hatch. Unless I'm getting the whole car painted.

if you want low budget, you can jb weld some dime sized pieces of metal on the inside, sand and fill the outside, and paint. or you can try fiberglass, but fiberglass is a bit messy.

if you want you can travel out my way i can pull it off weld her up and just prime and you paint, or i can touch it up (aerosol wise) depending on color.
