What exhaust system do you guys recommend?
I have a tanabe racing medalion and it's getting too loud

I'm looking for something a little bit more quiet

RSR Exmag is probably what you want and what I am looking to get myself. A lot less restrictive than stock and just about as quiet too.

alot of them are fairly well made.

Ever thought of going to a hyper medalion? My 5Zigen isnt too bad either. If you really want quieter, some of the offerings from Greddy arnt too bad. And for the almost stock sounding - Apex WS

Greddy evo was relatively quiet until I got a header and highflow cat. Then it got loud

Cause I already have a mid pipe. which one offers only in muffler? Then I can just bolt it onto the tanabe piping and change it whenever I feel like.

Or has anyone tried the Apexi Exhaust Control Valve?
I was thinking of this too. It would be nice.

I second the magnaflow. It doesn't sound all farty and ricey like other exhausts. It has a very deep tone and I've had one on for about 4 years now and it still sounds like the first day I bought it.

Since you had a Tanabe before, the Racing Medallion is the N1 styel, which is louder.

The Tanabe Hyper Medallion is not that loud and has nice deep tone, it kinda looks like the Greddy Evo style.

Apexi WS owns all.

I had I/H and the WS Exhaust and it was still quiet! It sounds sweet at WOT.

Where or who can you get a Kakimoto exhaust from here? How much do they go for?

http://www.boomplustoys.net or talk to Roger at http://www.speedstate.com

Its a full stainless exhaust (not just the canister), and it has dual resonators. Only thing is the piping is big, about 2.75", so if you don't have mods, I don't know if you will make or lose power.

no fuel upgrades lose low end power, less torque.
