Rebuilt engines

Hey guys, I'm still not clear on the idea of rebuilt engines. What are the bads about them? I'm talking like completely rebuilt ones. And specifically, rebuilt Honda engines.

why... are you buying a rebuilt engine.. just make sure that the company is reputable.. and if you are doing it yourself then make sure you do everything correctly and to the exact specs. Take your time and do not rush it, or else you are going to suck big time in the future.

well integras are old now, a lot of them have rebuilt engines and plus they are cheap. A lot of them have a high mileage which will soon have to be replaced. So swapped is better then rebuilt? How much longer do they typically last? over 100k?

A well maintained honda motor will have no problem reaching 300k, even 400k
