Rear Speakers

Hey i need to fit 6 by 9 speakers in the back of my 2 door integra...is there a bracket that i can buy that can hold them or will i have to customize a bracket to fit them?? any help please and thanks

you dont need a bracket if you get the same size speakers, I replaced mine and i just screwed them back in the same way i took out the orginals.

i don't think 6x9's fit in the rear locations. i think it's 6 1/2"

if I remember correctly its 6 1/2

u can custom fit 6x9 in the rear trunk tray/lid

you'll have to remove the factory bracket obviously and make a new plate to mount on the factory supports. make sure that when you mount them, you completely isolate the front of the speaker from the back of the speaker so the front and back waves of the speaker don't cancel out, along with making sure you have a nice tight seal at the mounting surfaces. if you look at the factory bracket, you'll notice that the edges are raised so bracket meets up with the sidepanel. you'll want to duplicate this with your adaptor plates, otherwise the front and backwave cancellation cause you to loose bass.
