Random spark plug question.
A cooler range spark plug vs the stock heat range. what would the differance be to the motor? would I have more power with the cooler heat range? or less? mind you the engine is a stock motor, with fuel pressure set at 42 PSI, taylor wires, intake.

just run a stock ngk
|
your engine would feel like it's running in 5th gear the whole time
stick with stock heat range unless your boosted or supercharged |
oh yeah, taylor wires are P00

^i third that!!! they are the reason i failed a emmisions test and made my car missfire. honestly, get rid of those shits!

I had an aftermarket set of wires once. Triple core, had the demo right next to it vs stock ones - lasted 20,000km then I was watching sparks from the wires arc onto my engine. Never again. $250 I'll never get back.

as for my oppinion regarding cool plug/hot plug, the best to go with is a mid range plug (which honda recommends). cool plugs are meant for high performance or severe driving situations (think delivery trucks), and hot plugs are usually for small engine applications (pressure washers, chainsaws). but overall, you wont feel a difference in power/speed. good luck... cheers! |
i say ngk, with accel wires or something.. or go ngk with msd and blaster coils! buhaha
