Default Radio/CD help?

Everytime I step on the break the radio goes all static and blurry but once I press the gas again and start driving the radio is fine? This even happens when I am playing a CD Does anyone what this could be and how I can fix this? Let me know. Thanks. BTW this is a 2000 Integra with a stock deck.

pick up an aftermarket deck, it's picking up the "noise" from your alternator this happens with alot of different cars, the aftermarket decks have a better resistance to that type of thing

Oh that's cool then. I'm putting in my aftermarket JVC deck Friday Some others were telling me I need a better ground? or I need to check the wiring behind the deck?

how do you get a better ground? To be honest I have no idea how, all I know is that ground=negative which means I don't have enough negative power. would putting in an aftermarket deck do the trick?

is it happening from all the speakers or just one? you might want to wait until you pull the factory deck out and see if the radio harness has ever been cut to install an aftermarket deck (hardwired without a harness adapter) the factory wiring/ ground is fine for a factory deck, unless it's been tampered with and something is grounding out and someone was sloppy when putting the car back to stock.

do what i did and make a direct connection to the metal frame around the back of the radio rather than running through the harness
