Default Quick Caliper question

So i finally decided to replace my brakes, figured i had rotors + pads so i was good to go.
I end up needing flex lines and calipers aswell...

I have a set of Front calipers that I originally bought for 98 civic coupe, so shouldn't they be good to use on DCs??

i thought they were, but i'm being told i can't use them..anybody know for sure?

Thanks!
