Default question about tire size with 16 inch rimz

hi guys, once again I am experiencing a conflict i have 16 x7 rimz. 4 bolt. Now i can get tires cheap they are 205/50 16s... now im lowered 2.5 infront and 2.0 in back. Will these tire's rub or look too big? Or will I be fine and have a comfortable ride. Thanks any feed back Is highly appreciated ..

It all depends on the offset of the rim. I forget what my offset is but 16 X 7 BARELY FITS. But it does. It shouldnt rub. With a 2.5" drop it should be fine. I have 17 X 7 on and it doesnt rub even with 0 degrees camber. And I have about a 3.5 drop. It looks like it'll rub, but what happens is when you go over a bump or something your tires will angle in and miss the fender when the shock absorbs the impact. But if go any lower when you hit big bumps your tires will hit the inside of the wheel well and bend your fenders. Hard springs are best if your car is really low so it has a less chance to hit your wheel well. And if your getting new tires, get a camber kit. Unless you want those new tires burnt away in 3 months.

Id personally go for low pros 205/40/16. Unless you want those all season tires.
