Problem Inside Integra
Well i noticed that the floor on my passenger side is soaked, i really really don't want it to be the heater core cause i can imagine it being a bitch to replace... anyone have any other ideas on what it could be?
The coolant levels aren't low, and im not getting a low coolant light come on, i still have coolant in my reservoir. The floor is soaked, carpet and floor mat both. Also, i think this is related, when i get in the car and turn the heat on the windows will all fog up real bad, if i put the a/c on the fog disappears after a few minutes... anyone know what the problem is? owh ya..its a 94 Integra too |
check the window seals. the round plugs that hold the cowl down. That's what went on my DA and was wet in the exact same area.

yea thats an important question to start to figure out whats goin on
Doesn't smell like coolant, doesn't have a scent to it, i think it could be water... i think it could be: the heater core a torn up window seal a blown a/c line |
you got a sunroof?
in the channels there are tubes at each corner that run down the front window pillar and to the rear .... with all the ice built up the last few days, they could be frozen and the melting ice got no where to go, cept inside the car!!! |
i do have a sunroof, it has been happening since before all the ice and snow hit us, i'm trying to narrow it down before i bring it to a shop for them to figure it out
|
i also noticed, when i feel under the dash (passenger side) that there is like a plastic surface there, thats soaked too... could the leak be coming from inside there?
|
Almost 100% sure it's the Heater Core. If you can get access to a Helms and you can take you dash apart - check for leaks.
