Painting Valve Cover

OK i have the high heat paint for my valve cover that i am doing, do you guys reccomend a high heat primer??

I know with primer it will last longer but would it really matter, or should i use it just to cover up imperfections on it?

Use etching primer. You'll be happy with it. It's one of the best primer-in-a-can that u can get. That, and it sands very nicely. I've done dozens of valve covers in the past, and never had problems with this. Make sure to post some pics of the progress:yeah:

Sweet! Wrinkle paint is a fad, and fads are otherwise known as "old". Keep up updated!
