So im thinking of removing my power steering. my question is if i was too remove the pump+pressure+ return line and reservoir etc and crimp the lines right near the rack would it cause the rack to burn out premature or something? is it necessary to leave the pump or at least the reservoir on? Would it be best to swap in a manual rack or can you make a go of it with a power steering rack with no p/s?? Thanks!

 

your gonna wanna find a manual rack.. thats probably the saftest way to go

 

or keep it filled with fluid and loop the lines.

its just like people lowering there car with cheap coil sleaves and stock struts. it works for the time being but in the end you gonna have troubles
