Oil Pressure
 

Does anyone know what the oil pressure should be on a B20Vtec?? I will be installing a oil pressure guage and want to monitor the pressure for safety.

hey drew i thought all honda's even with vtec or not will max out at 80 psi's
or aroudn there.
i had about 80 psi's anything above 3 grand on my 1st gen b16.

yup around 80 psi

changes with the weight of the oil and temp

yeah something about the oil pressure sensor is only capable of that high if i remember correctly,
but different weights wont' be that dramatic though, but it won't go pass 80psi's if anything, its relaly hard for it to read a higher guage than that.

yeah see, i think its already regulated at 80 psi's anyhow.

anywhere between 60-80psi over 3000rpm is normal.
