Oil leaks into spark plugs

Could this mean blown head gasket? because sometimes it wont start and i gotta clean out the oil.

Smartass pHO Jun 8, 2007 03:28 PM

Yup.

You should probably change your rad too.

Is the oil on the spark plugs tops where the wires go onto? or On the cylinder side? If its simply on the outside where the wires hook onto all you need to do is replace the spark plug seals (4 rubber gasket things a 10 min job or less) and your good to go :).

Goodluck.

Nope, its in the cylinder when i pull out the plug=oil coming from inside of the plug. peice of ---- car ,I wanted to throw a brick at it today when it didnt want to start

A carbon fiber hood will help keep the heat of the sun away from your motor
It will help stop things from warping and protect your seals

Kraz13 Jun 8, 2007 09:18 PM

Well then since its on the plug when you pull it...valve seals, piston rings, and maybe the headgasket. How many km's you got on your car?

bbTeg Jun 8, 2007 09:22 PM

It won't start because you touch yourself at night.

hahhahaaa these comments are pure jokes LoL actually seriously.. its probably just low on halogen fluid. :giggle:

JDM_gsR Jun 12, 2007 08:04 AM

It's the seals around your spark plugs.

slickkhan Jun 12, 2007 10:38 AM

i have the same problem oil on the electrode side but no performance problems at all starts always and drive smooth

irsdb7 Jun 12, 2007 11:49 PM

the oil is probably there becuase it runs down when you loosening up the plugs is there oil around the plugs before you take em out? im sure its the valve cover gasket spark plug seals

midnight_breeze33 Jun 13, 2007 07:15 AM

change your gromets and your valve cover gasket seals. buy some gasket maker, and first clean the base where the gaskets are going. than put some gasket maker on the outer edge. Than put you gaskets on..put the valve cover on, and your good to go, no more leaking oil.
