Default new pads and rotors and when i stop the steering wheel turns slightly to the right

hey guys i just put on new rotors and new ceramic brake pads and it seems every time i press the brake the steering wheel wants to turn to the right!

what should i do ? what has failed?

did you do them yourself? if so, was the left caliper piston harder to press in? did you grease up the slider pins?

to me it sounds like your caliper is starting to seize up. weather it's the piston or the sliders, i don't know.

no i had them done at crappy tire and i know that the guy wipe them clean and refreshed the slider with brand new grease i think it might be the piston!

im just going to buy new calipers i think i should, its almost 20years old

sounds like a partially seized caliper piston or the slider pins are seized......

why not take it back to the place and explain to them the situation? I'm sure they'll be able to help you out.....although, it was crappy tire, the licensed guy probably had the 15 year old shop bitch actually do the work for him.

My buddy worked at crappy tire for a while and he told me all the time how he would do the licensed guys work for them, b/c he was hourly and they were flat rate, so they could be doing another car while he worked on that car, and the mechanic would get paid for both. He also told me how he didn't care about doing a good job b/c if it did come back with a problem it would be on the licensed guy that got paid for the job, and would serve them right, for trying to get paid for something they didn't do.
