Neeeed Help

sorry.. i just wanted to get yur attention i own a G2 with rear disc brakes and i know its prolly a dumb question but do teh screws in the back rotors thread off clockwise or counter clockwise they seem to not wanna go counterclock wise pleease help

Dave YO Apr 10, 2005 02:52 PM

drill them out or use an impact screwdriver

counter clockwise

93tegDude Apr 10, 2005 03:05 PM

if i end up needing to drill them out where can i get new ones? screws that is

SIC1 Apr 10, 2005 03:12 PM

If you drill them out you don't really need to put screws in. The lugnuts & rims/wheels will hold the rotors in place.

perfect thanks...will it still pass safety with no screws???

Buff4Prez Yo Apr 10, 2005 04:14 PM

ya it should.. not many cars have screws to mount the rotors i don't see why we should be any different.

i saw my mechanic do it..

he took a chisel like thing with a philps bit on the end.. got a hammer... smacked it once and the screw came loose.. and he undid the screws for the rotors

yes i know.. machined rotors are rice =) but braking is soo smooth.
