Need Help with Head lights PLS!!
Hi guys,
I was cleaning my car today and noticed that the bubble on the aligning tube for the head lights were off and weren't in the middle. So I decided to put a screw driver in the aligning hole and started to turn. I didn't notice the bubble moving at all or much. Problem is, I moved it off course and I don't know how to get it aligned again. any help would be appreciated. |
you might be turning the wrong screw. to adjust the bubble, the screw is directly underneith it to the side there's another alignment tool towards the middle it not a bubble but lines with different color, that adjustment screw is near the fender, there's a hole on top that you screw down onto
if i had a picture i'd post it. |
Check ur email cyberdude, I sent u 2 pages from the svc manual. ;)

Use a power drill and a long philips bit... you'll see instant results... doing it manually and giving it 1 or 2 turns won't do shite.

thanks guys, there is actually two places where you can screw. A horizonal alignment and a Vertical Alignment. I was turning the horizontal while looking at the vertical bubble.. hahah no wonder it went no where.. but this means that I probably fucked up the horizontal alignment.
|
the bubble is for vertical... the other thingy that has red and blue lines in it is for horizontal (left right) adjustment.
anyways, trying to adjust the lights up and down.. it actually doesn't go just up and down.. it moves diagonally.. like / or \ it's the way the two positioning screws are set. |
yeah too bad I wasn't smart enough to figure it out last night.
So how should I angel the lights now, considering that its all messed up. should I just angel it so that the bubble is in the center and center the other one as well. |
follow this as a general idea of how to aim your headlights..
