hello im new here and new to acura I have a 94 Rs that only startes when it wants to. checked pos wire seemed ok then no start changed starter seemed ok then no start . when it wont fire there is nothing no bells lights nothing recently removed alarm fuse put it back still same any help would be appreciated thx

 

does the car crank over at all?

when you turn the key to on position, do you hear the fuel pump click/start pumping?

the car will start and run purfect shut it off wont start next time you try wont start 20 minuits later starts .

 

yea but that doesnt answer my question though....when the car is acting up, are you getting spark or fuel?

 

yes i believe it is new distributor new fule pump

 

it is possible that you may have the wrong distributor......take the distributor apart and see if there's anything inside that looks off. maybe the rotor is missing the screw holding it down and it's moving inwards and outwards? anything's possible. if you have someone to help you get someone to turn the key on and listen for the fuel pump is coming on every time you turn the key on.

im starting to think so too because my buddy had literally the exact same problem with his jeep after we took the alarm out of his 95 grand cherokee....the problem stopped after we towed the car to the dealer and had the dealer take out the alarm but then it turned out his pcm was fried in the end...

 

I just pulled the fuse havent taken out i now they can cause all sorts of problems it is a viper alrm thx for being patient im not very good at computor Olg guy But i think my car is prety cool marble paint kit 20 inch conties suburu fin
