need exhaust suggestion
just wanted to know if any of you guys have any suggestions on a good exhaust.
I have one on there of couse, but its to loud, Im looking to get a nice little per, and have it sounding a bit deep but not something that you can hear from miles away. I want it to sound like a stock infiniti g35 if possible haha thay sound awesome I got the b16 a1 v tec, aftermarket headers stock cat any suggestions |
Well it won't ever sound like a G35, unless you swap in a V6...lol.
The Apexi WS2 cat-back exhaust seems to be a popular choice. |
yes, your best bet is prlly the apexi ws2, or the tanabe gold med, or if you want really quiet the ITR catback
|
personally i like the vibrant street power , vibrant high flow cat n custom 2.5 pipe . my boy has it on hi eg n it sounds really deep, n looks almost stock . I dunno that's my opinion .

I have a Vibrant street power setup on my car too. Good sound and not flashy or ridiculously loud.
|
^^^ My fave low sounding exhaust. Looks really good as well
|
i have a twin loop muffler and i find its more quiet and deeper than others out there plus the police dont harass you as much seeing as how its not a single chamber but i also like ws2 as well lol youtube different ones and go from there good luck

I got myself a Skunk2 catback with the silencer its nice and deep an when you push and wanna be heard it wakes up :yeah:
|
i got myself a nexi n1 2.5 catback and its perry when your just putting around but when you hang loose it wakes up and sounds godly my fave exhaust
|
I'm a big fan of magnaflow, but they tend to be on the louder side, generally speaking.

i just discovered yesterday y my exhaust was soo loud
apparently my cat burnt out hardcore, disenegrated and shot out the muffler slowly piece by piece over time i noticed my car was letting out madd fumes invisible fumes no smoke just a chokey invisible smog and it was louuuuder than wen i originally replaced the muffler and cat now with the new cat in it sounds a lot better and quieter but i lost mad power...i can really feel the loss but at least im not dying and getting headaches from the smell anymore just a note to add this cat that i burnt out was about a year old the problem was my car was running cold for the longest time and i drove it harddd everyday so over time my engine was spitting out more fuel than it should and eventually melted down and destroyed my cat i had a thermostat stuck open and didnt know since i bought the car years ago it was only this previous winter i fixed it what a difference it made now i have a working thermostat and a new cat and i just replaced the o2 sensor sunday to be safe |
^If the new cat you put in is a stock cat, I understand the power loss. I don't know if you've seen the stock cats, but some of them are long and multi-chambered. Quite restrictive...lol.
Glad you got it all fixed up though. |
