did you check your oil?

SMOOTHE 11-03-2006 10:02 AM

vtec fluid might be low.

check your wiring to your vtec solonoid.

top up your blinker fluid and you'll be good to go.

Check your exhaust fluids.

maybe you got a fake r motor. you'll need to contact vtech and ask them for the new 5.8ghz modulator.

or perhaps flux capacitor

alot of things can be wrong. check the vtec solenoid wire, check oil levels, make sure you're not throwing any codes. unless you don't have cel light.
quickest way to test if the solenoid works at least is to put a power to it, you'll hear a click, if it doesn't click than you have a bad solenoid.
good luck

definately sounds like a lack of vtec fluid

Torqueless_In_Toronto 11-03-2006 03:51 PM

yup Vtec fluid levels must be out of spec

The problem is probably the vtec solonoid. This was acting up in my prelude, whenever I was in vtec for a period of time. Reset the ecu and it might work again.
