My Intake Test/Ideas

While I have my bumper off on my Integra RS, I would like to modify the stock intake. I came up with two options and I wanted some feedback, what would be better for performance.

Would you actually lose torque if you remove the resonator? How much louder would it get. What option is better?

i think you should just get rid of the whole thing, what seems to work well, is if you keep the stock air box in your engine bay (the top one), put a K&N air filter, and then run some kind of tubing like PCV piping down toward the fender for a cold air intake.

I did that with my SR-V and I noticed a loss of power btw 3000-4000rpm, mind you that intake snorkel had a 2 stage system. So instead, I just took off the resonator.

Is the resonator strictly for sound?

yup resonantor is strictly for sound

Fuzzy's right, that's the best way to improve power with a intake
