Hi guys,
I recently installed a after market muffler as it was a gift. Its a lot louder! than i thought even with the silencer. I have a high flow cat but the noise is too loud. Also its making little farting noises what can I do to eliminate these problems?

 

farting noises!?? ....lol.... i guess that's why they call it a fart can muffler...

 

do you still have a resanator?

 

Yeah I have a resanator, i think its the factory one. I have a G3 GSR I bought off my uncle. I have a intake, a high flow cat, thats about it.
The muffler has a nice deep tone, but the farting and the loudness is starting to get to me. I likes the OEM GSR muffler, but I would like to have the ITR muffler if I can get my hands on one.

 

take the muffler off and put the stock one back on.......or try to find someone selling a ITR muffler....

 

or add another resonator

 

well putting the stock one back on isn't a option anymore, I've used the stock GSR muffler for 11 years now. It was about time that thing too a rest
I am looking for a ITR muffler anyone got one in good shape?

 

i use two mufflers in-line to keep mine quiet (allmost)

well i am thinking of getting a bigger resonator.. but that will cost more money, so i might as well get a ITR muffler or something. I already posted in the WTB GMAN, still waiting for someone to reply.
