the hole through which the brake light wiring enters the trunk; that would be exposed.

wont the spoiler cover it? it looks like the base will cover it?

it would probably cover it but it is recommended that you close the hole by using a rubber grommet in order to avoid the water entering your trunk.

when i did mine i actually had 2 holes exposed. one on each side. I have a 2001 integra gs, so i repainted the trunk in order for it to look professional.
