Default Lowering question

Ok i guess this is kind of a stupid way of asking how to measure how much im lowered. But....

I dropped my car today on tokico advanced handeling pack....1.5 inch drop, but it does not seem that low.

How many finger gap would indicate a 1.5 inch drop and how long should these springs take to settle in to there actual height

1.5" you would notice for sure.

Maybe you installed them upside down and raised the car 1.5" by mistake?

The advanced handling pack is a 1.3 drop, and yes, you still with have a fair amount of finger gap.

If you really want to measure height difference, you should have measured before and after. Now you' can try to measure a stock car then compare with what you have...

well thanks for the smartass remark smartass. but its noticable, it just doesnt seem like 1.5 inch drop.

And 96vtec you are thinking of eibach springs i believe because it is stated right on tokicos website that its a 1.5 inch drop.

How long do you think they will take to settle.

^ even if they settle, dont expect them to make a huge difference appearance wise.

Go low or go home!!

if the wheel gap bothers you, then just save up and get full coilovers like a omni. It be worth it in the long run. Mines is suppose to be dropped 1.8 and i still have wheel gap and its been almost a year, hasn't settle much still looks the same. I'm saving up.
