Default Lowering Car

So a NOOB question, hopefully someone can help.

I've worked on my car for the last couple days to install my springs and struts. Day one didn't go so well as there were seized bushings in the rears, fronts were a breeze.
Anyways, I had to go out and buy rear lower control arms and put those in the back today.

This is the set up.
Skunk2 Pro series camber kit (upper control arms)
tein s tech springs
tokico blues struts

Problem 1- Alignment is not just off, its wayyyyyyyyyyy off! I'm getting an alignment done first thing tomorrow morning, but is it normal for the steering wheel to be on a 90 degree angle and the car going straight? I never thought it can get that bad!
- Where is a good alignment place to go to in the Vaughan area? I've heard good things about Woodbridge Alignment. Any other suggestions where i DONT have to drive to far?
-Question 2- Car doesn't look lowered. I know people say it takes a couple days before you notice the drop, but should i be noticing anything right away? How much of a drop should i be noticing? Doesn't look like i did anything!
Thats it! Any input is welcome!

well i have never heard of a cars alignment being off a lot after changing the suspention. and check to make sure the spring is setting in the proper position on the shock you should notice a little difference in ride height

when you lower a car, not only will the camber be thrown off but the toe will be out of whack too. atleast that's how it was with my DA. since you tossed on the upper arms, an alignment is in serious need.

as for the ride height, i really don't know what to tell you. there shoud be a drop and yes it will (or should) settle more after a few day or weeks. post a pic are you sure there's nothing stopping it from going lower?

I'll post some pics today. I put my winters back on the front because the camber and toe is out of whack like you said. The left side doesn't look so bad, but the right side top of the wheel is noticably on the inside.
I looked and the back of the car shows a bit ofa drop but the front doesn't.

Also, I did not shave the bump stops, not sure if that would make a difference. I'll take pics and get the alignment done, if everything looks good, i'll throw the rims on and take some after shots as well. I don't think i've ever posted pics of my car yet!

I noticed you don't have a rear camber kit, did you do the washer trick in the rear to fix some of the rear camber?

Definately get the alignment, when your camber and toe are out that will throw off your steering, gas mileage, and also eat up your tires.

replacing anything will toss the alignment, even if you just take it all off and put the same stuff right back on your alignment is then off. the slightest thing can bugger it up. you might not notice it right off the hop but it will wear other things and tires too.

basically its a good habiti to get into, that when you do anything suspension to get an alignment. even having dead tires on the car then putting a brand new set on can throw off the alignment.

just align it.
