Default looking to buy an integra.

Hey, I'm looking to buy an integra. My dad has a friend that is interested in getting rid of his. He said it needs a new head gasket because the second spark plug hole has a problem. Could their be more complications because of this problem or would I just have to replace the headgasket and we'll be laughing?

Also, He's looking for $650 and it's got 233,000km on it. Good deal?

How's the body?
Also, the spark plug issue, its most likely a valve stem seal. Either the one in the valve cover, or the lower one in the head.
If the body is clean, it would be a nice buy.

Body is very clean. Also, how much would it cost to repair the valve stem seal?

SICK buy, go for it. Again, like everyone said, check the body. Other than that, hell you can even sway the motor entirely . An LS motor wouldnt run you much

^^thats what i was thinking. the price of head gasket plus labour would be about the same, maybe a bit less for a motor+swap lol.

ya to replace the head gasket cost between 600-800 depends where you get it a new motor will run you anywhere between 300-600 + 300 roughly labour and you got yourself a sweet ride...and if your saying the body is in great shape then its a steal and i would highly recommend it. Keep us posted if your getting it.

like kartheegan said check under the car 100% i.e brake lines, and gas lines thats another thing you need to look at besides the car's body looking good.
