well i got this gift from an old friend. its called Aedolin electronics HID conversion kit. 9006 8k xenon bulb comes with 2 bulbs 2 stablizer/blasts. its for a 96 integra. the problem is it doesn't come with the relay or fuse, can't get a direct source from the battery. on the manual it says "the method of operation can be as followed: the lines from the storage battery to the realy and from the relay to the power stablizer shall have a cross section of more than 1.5mm". on the diagram it shows to connect to the battery but the kit didn't come with the relay. i wasted my whole sunday trying to get this stupid kit working :( its free so worths the try lol
is it possible to get the relay from somewhere else? whats the solution?

whoa wait a minute there should be no relay involved it should take the two small terminals on the ballast and hook up to the bulb and the doubble terminal connector plug should hook up to the ballast on one side and to your stock lowbeam connector on the other. Straight up two minutes plug and play and mounting the ballast is what shouls take the longest of installing an hid kit. If there was a realy you could use any honda realy there universal it just gives power to one terminal and grounds another to send current through another set it;s main purpose is to save the contacts from burning out on a switch.

but there is no extra wire to connect to the battery. where can i buy the additional stuff that i need?

the power and ground supplied to your ballast should be coming from the stock harness connector that you plug your low beam bulb into. you don't need the extra power source from the battery unless you bought some wierd kit i've never seen before.

Stcok lowbeam power and ground connector plug into the female connector in this pic which is the one on the top then supply power and ground to the ballast fromt the other male end which is on the right side of this pic the one with the yellow gasket around it. Then the ballast steps up voltage then sending it to the power and ground wires out to your hid bulb the two wires on the bottom left of this pic and illuminate the bulb. Very straight forward. so blue wire in from the cars headlight wiring thrugh the ballast then out of the ballst through the two bottom black wires and to your bulb.

looks like a pure plug and play kit.

first of all thank you for taking time to put a picture to help me understand. i am appreciate your input. here is a silly thing with my hid conversion kit first me and this other guy who has installed his hid himself thought my kit was pure plug n play so matched everything and connected everything properly. we also figured we didnt have to reverse any connections. so we plugged everything switched on the headlights xenon bulb didn't turn on at all. refered to the manual where it said to use a relay and get a direct source from the battery.
anyways i am assuming buying a relay might solve the issue here. i went to walmart to get a relay but they didn't have one. would u guys be kind to tell me where i can find hid relay? thank you

well like i said there is no specific "hid" relay , a relay is a relay you could use any relay bosch,mitsuba. But b4 you buy one i'm interested to see your kit. Could you take good clear pictures of your ballasts and your conections and your connector plugs and wiring. Im having a very hard time beliving that your kit needs a relay to run it.

ok i would think that you could just plug it in and ignore the relay and make sure your pluging your stock headlight connector in properly with your power and ground wires matching thier power and gound wires and bypass the relay and see if it works. Also make sure you push hard and move it aorund with your headlight switch on as these kits someitmes have bad fitting connectors to your stock headlight harness. If you do need the relay to operate it its basically telling you that you dont have the amperage from the stock headlight setup to power the ballast. Power is sent to the bottom terminals in your diagram from your headlight switch you will colse the top terminal in the relay (12v from the battery ) and it will send suffecient amperage to the ballast to power it up and then illuminate your bulb. Try it agin with out the relay and if it doesnt work i'll take a second and fiugre out how you could wire it up with a used honda relay out of a underhood fuse pannel, i have a few laying around.

You don't need a relay to connect that kit. There is no suck thing as an HID relay what you need is a standard "5 pin automotive relay" that's what walmart and Canadian tire label it as. If you are in Scarborough there is a place called Electrosonic on Vic Park north of steeles. I buy all my electronic components there and they sell SPDT relays as well.

You issue more than likely is that you connected the HID kit to the HIGH beam socket of the car rather than the Low beam. OR you didn't push the connector in all the way so it wasn't making contact. 9005/9006 connectors are tight so you have to make sure it seats all the way down.
