IF they are assembled w/ top hats. They they are ready.

If you are DIY.

Have a breaker bar, torch, 2 extra Rear LCA bolts, LCA bushings, compressor AND impact sockets.

Unless you don't drive the car in the winter, your Rear LCA bolts are guaranteed to be seized.

don't forget about torque wrench - u wanna torque those bolts to spec or as close to it as possible!

and +1 on the lca bolts seizing!

what a shitty day!!.... i just gave it a try, i had all the tools and my torque wrench and i couldn't get the ------- bolt off...i heated it up alot and started to turn it and bent the screw almost got it out..and gave up for the day...gonna sleep on this..so pissed...wanted to have a slammed car for the weekend..

^what i do if that bolt is seized, is grab a grinder with a cutt off wheel and cut through the bolt on the inside of it. then it'll free the LCA, you can then burn out the bushing because it'll need to be replaced anyway, pop in the energy suspension split bushing and your good to go. since you have the top hats on it's as simple as pulling out your stock shock and spring, and putting in the yellow/h&r combo.

since the springs/shock is already assembled, half the work is done - some spring compressors are a pain in the ass to work with - especially with such a small spring like ours.

i know that top hats are already assembled but just wanted to let you know that the yellows have 3 settings for ride height, so if u want a serious drop put the lower spring seat into the 3rd ring groove on the shock body
