ya paul can help you out, cause i think you "helped him out" with the door panels right? LOL!!!!!

INT3GRA 07-12-2010 12:02 PM

INT3GRA 07-12-2010 05:01 PM

I PM him but no answer. I really need to do this to get the car on the road.
Anyone know a bodyshop that will do it for a good price?

AcuratePaul 07-12-2010 10:34 PM

would you have to reweld anything or are you just replace the body parts...hood,bumper,fenders?

The old rad support is messed up because nothing is aligning.
The old rad support needs to be removed( old owner had it welded) and re weld or bolt the new one.
If you assist me with it i got beers and lots of food for ya lol.

the rad support is the most tricky when my father and I did it he measured it in detail and just cut the T part of the rad support if the damage is more then then the T-Part then I really have no clue how to bolt it up temporary so you can get it to a shop to get it welded.

Like on mine all that's holding it is a ---- load of Rivets which is super strong.

I see, the previous owner did the full thing.
I;m taking it to a body shop today hopefully it will be out by tomorrow.

Thanks

No really that's like the time the other member on this site pm'd me to check out his JDM front end and give him some advice how to go abouts on handling the rad support when i got there he had cut the whole thing and that is something a body shop will only be able to take care off. Like if it was just the T it's not that difficult but doing the whole thing is quite a challenge itself.

Keep us updated.

INT3GRA 07-13-2010 02:19 PM

did you weld yours when you cut the T?

AcuratePaul 07-13-2010 04:36 PM

No I used rivets to hold it in place.

INT3GRA 07-13-2010 08:00 PM

Car has been dropped off at the shop
hopefully it goes good lol

well, i also need someone to do the welding, i have the full front end, and the old front end off, need someone to weld the rad support/rebar on. I can fit the parts on..I can pay someone to do the welding. let me know! Thanks

AcuratePaul 07-14-2010 03:50 PM

Like I stated before all that had to be change is the rad support just the t part and it's not mandatory to weld it to look great. As for the rebar all you need is the 4 bolts that hold it in place.
