jdm dc5 into 99 ek

i am looking hard at a jdm dc5 steering wheel for my 99 civic ek hatch. i am reading around online that it will fit without an issue, airbag should work, the whole thing. i am not really convinced by what i read. the swap is mentioned in passing. can anyone confirm this swap for me?
