Jack stands question
 

I got the Michelin jack stands to keep my car lifted up during my storage period. I put all 4 jacks but one of my rear jack would stand free and not get any weight on it, meaning only 3 jack stands are lifting my car..
is that normal? or is michelin jacks are screwed up or am i just on uneven surface?

Your on a uneven surface, put a block of wood on that one jack stand. Unless you didn't raise the stands to all the same height.

what i do is the same, i put a piece of wood under each uneven stand to hold the weight as evenly as possible to ensure so, kick each stand to make sure its tight,
this process is usually a bitch!

There is absolutely no reason to store your car on stands.

So take them off and put on 4 spare tires.

just store it on the wheels. i've done that for 10 years with my car now and never had an issue... sometimes the car has sat for 2 years at a time!
