J35A3 engine in 1990 integra
Would a J35a3(acura MDX) engine fit in a 1990 integra
Yes it would fit, but you would be doing alot of work to get it to fit, like getting custom mounts made, maybe having to cut the hood to get it to clear. It is possible just takes time and money to do it.
This junkyard has a crashed MDX, the engine runs mint. I think im going to pick it up.
I believe ill be the 1st person to do that. Wouldnt it be cool. |
Good luck with the swap. Could you have found a bigger motor to put in? Lol
HAHA. I know. My dad has a MDX and I drive it sometimes. Thats why I want a MDX engine in my DA. But dont mark my word. I dont know if im getting this engine forsure from the junkyard. It is 3500$
lol waste. for 3500$ just turbo+bodywork
yeah bro its gonna be a waste..your gonna have a hard time handling so no point in having that power..juss boost/body work like whats said above or just do a k20 instead if you ahve that kinda money
Well it would take me about a month and a half to save up for the MDX engine. Maybe if i save up for a month, I can get a K20. But I cant drive stick properly. Can i get a K20 and make it auto.
Theres already a civic with a 3.5L engine in it, so you mite be one of the first in a teg, but not a small honda.
J35 or k in auto? Come on!
Keep stock a1 and drive auto then. Lol no point in dropping money and having auto. |
well the J35 is already auto.
yea and auto is ----.
i've seen j32's from cl's and tl's put into tegs and civics. and j32 heads put on the j35 block for more power. honestly, dont waste your time or money unless a) you can do it all yourself b) you have another car c) your willing to do this for like a month straight. |
