idling at 2000rpm
 

Luckily its not my car.. just my buddy called me stuck in the traffic

and tells me his car idles at 2000rpm.. what might be the cause?

car 04 wrx mileage about 75,000km

100% stock. recently done Compustar and new Deck/subs/amps/speakers

my car surges between 1000 and 2000 rpm sometimes during idle. mine is do to a vacuum leak but it could also be the IACV or FIV or sometimes the car is just low on coolant. check those out.
