Idle running low!

my car is idling very low these days and i dont know why. what could be the reason. i want to increase the idle and see if it goes back down. i is around like 300 to 400rpm which is quite low. i have a gay mechanic and i asked him to increase it and he is like there is a problem and i wont increase it. im like wtf bastard. can anyone help me? ill be at the meet tonight can anyone from the board would be able to increase it i would appreciate it!

try turnin the idling screw, located on top of the trottle body..that should do the trick for u.

prolly ur ignitor in the distributor, most likely it can't handle the heat we're having for the last couple of days.

i totally forgot at the meet. i posted that i would ask someone to increase it for me but then when i got there i didnt remember to tell anyone. i can wait until sunday and someone can do it for me then.

thanks guys...btw i looked at the throttle but i didnt know which screw to adjust???
