I want to lower my teg by the spring..
Like the title says.. What is the best spring/Strut combo that will offer a smooth ride for a decent price? And my only dilemma will be that I'll be using 17" voxx racing rims with 205/40/17 tires. What will give the lowest drop without rubbing?
Thanks

Can vouch for the above springs, i run them in my integra. If you want cheap struts, you have the option of going Type Rs, although they'll be softer and non-adjustable. On bigger wheels like yours, you'll probably want less movement and a stiffer ride cause it'll be really easy to rub.
Function and Form Type 1s go for like 700 new now i believe. If you want a full coilover set up thats a good way to go at it. I think the spring rate is like 10k 6k, so its has some stiffness but its manageable. Then you can just play around with the drop and find a height you like
Go with full coli overs, dont just get springs and struts. You'll be happier in the long wrong with them. I myself like Megan Racing coil overs. I've had these in the pass that was on my daily driver and i also drifted the car, and you just need to change the damper to make the ride softer or harder.
Skunk2's, function and forms, Tein (the right ones) STD's...so many company's that have good rep just look for reviews and the price you want to pay.
Ok, how about you share your desire to lower a car? Because if you want it to handle, coils may not be best solution. If you want comfort, coils arent the way either. If you want it for show but dont care about the rest, go for coils.
Let the arguments begin.

As previous members have stated before, it is all dependent upon the purpose of your car. Daily Driver go with shocks and springs. A proper spring shock combo will offer you a much softer and nicer ride vs full coilovers.
S techs or Eibachs on some KYBs or Konis would be a good choice. Koni is the pricier alternative but it will allow your car more of a drop without prematurely wearing your shock out. Also the lifetime warranty is a nice feature as well.

And just an fyi, coilovers dont mean race only. Most race only cars dont even use coilovers, rather use custom springs and properly valved shocks...just saying.
