I need Ideas

this may be the 10th time posting this. but I need a serious answer.

Other then my valves needing to be reset. something whines under the hood and drops my idle down to 100rpms. At first i thought it might be the power steering pump. but i checked it and its good. sounds like its coming from the alternator. any ideas? it happens when i turn the steering wheel, or when i come to a sudden stop. its REALLY annoying since it makes the motor die off n shake then rev up to proper RPMS again.

I've changed:

Distributer internals, cap and Rotor
Wires
Spark Plugs
Fuel Filter
Map Sensor
ECU
Timing has been redone * PROPERLY!*

I need some help with this. completly out of ideas.

Add a turbo and that will solve your problem

Powersteering pump, thats the only thing that the load changes on when you turn the wheel.

thing is..the whine seems to come from the alternator area/crank maybe..but im going to try it anyways. its not constant anymore..just sometimes.

well correct me if i'm wrong, but the alt. is right near the PS pump no?

the power steering pump is at the front of the motor, the alternator is at the back by the fire wall. idle was bouncing today too..reset the ECU problem gone. whatever that whine is..is causing the idle to bounce, and die off a little bit. valves need adjusting too..burning mad gas!

And now "Orthow Award for 2005 goes to....." * I wouldn't be surprised.....

Yo T, this joker is just doing this to get under your skin. It's fun to see what garbage this guy types just to elicit response. His questions are not genuine and ignores suggestions and information presented to him. He is as useful muffler bearings.
