There are some write ups on this,
But you need to get non abs brakelines for the two front wheels, rears you leave alone.
The non abs proportioning valve, the brake master cylinder, new brake fluid, and I think I'm missing one other part. But after you have replaced all of those parts you will be able to remove your abs.
Do a search for the write ups, or some else chime in and fill in what I'm missing.
Hope that helps you get started.

Ummm. Have you ever made your own double flare ends. And you shouldnt have to change the master cylinder. But you do need a proportion valve.

This pretty well sums it up... but look at your car or any car for that fact as just a bunch of bolts, nuts (some screws) and wiring harnesses. You can pretty well only remove stuff in a particular order. With fluid systems there will be a mess so be prepared with catch trays and get the old fluid off to the recyclers. Other than that just pull stuff off till its all out then start replacing.

I used to be soooooooooo concerned of the steps involved with doing work that I religiously read and followed the instructions in Haynes manuals... (I own one for every car I have ever owned and have amassed a library over the years.. (I am now 47 and my first car was a 70 Mustang plus I have owned over 40 cars). One day I was at my friends garage working on my car and I pulled out the manual... he laughed and tossed it in the garbage.. he said.. "jeff.. there is only one way to remove stuff this bolt first that bolt next etc etc... you can't really make a mistake."... from that point on I just looked at the part and grabbed my wrenches and got to it. I know have my own home 2 car garage, 60 gallon air compressor/welder air tools etc... and can handle any job excluding tranny rebuilds with ease. I am also a service crew person for a rally team: www.oldschoolmotorsports.ca

Luckily Honda/Acura uses anodized bolts/nuts so removal is easy in most cases and disconnecting wiring harnesses is the easiest of all cars. I now own 3 Subaru's and they are a bitch to work on at time... bolts are severely rusted and harnesses vary in design.

As long as you have a good basic socket and wrench set along with some other simple tools this job is easy (but messy). Make sure you do NOT get any brake fuild on your paint as it acts like paint remover.

Good luck! Let us know if you get stuck or have any Q's...

I belive you have to change the master cylinder because the lines connect at different spots. But as long as you are using all oem Lines and parts there is no need to make double flare ends on the lines.

If. You go with oem line$. big bucks.
Or you buy a 25' roll of 3/16" steel tube. And make your own.

Cut down on costs and build it inhouse.
I heard factory lines cost about $900. and a roll of steel tube is $30

Re: How do i remove my ABS box

That's a crazy price on oem lines, either get someone that works at a dealer to get you the parts at cost, go to a wrecking yard and pull them yourself, or get them from someone parting an integra.
The cost of a good flaring tool usually out weighs the cost involved with buying the lines unless you plan on doing it again, or have the ability to borrow it from a friend
