HID's in winter?
Does anyone take their HID kits out during the winter? Is there any advantage to swapping them out, like does the winter weather adversely affect the HID's at all?
I'm thinking about putting a kit in, but wondering if I should just wait until the spring. |
if ur getting a kit don't go any higher then 6k. the higher u go less light will appear on the ground. Why not try a retro fit?

Hid's in winter are alright, but when it's really a "white out" and there's snow flakes everywhere, the hids light up every single snowflake that's falling. The plug and play kit make it worse. Does that mean I'm taking my out. HELL NO.

Yeah, I was planning on going w/ a 6K kit...the main reason for not going w/ a retrofit, is that I'm....LAZY...LOL

thats fine, and the reason can be justified, try visitin Hidplanet.com. Just look at the difference in output between a retro and a kit.
