HID Halo yellow light covers question

hey,

i was wondering if its ok to put HID lights into halo headlights, would the HID damage the halo's? also i wanted to yellow out my highbeams. I bought lamin-x yellow film (just waiting for them in the mail). I was wondering if anyone had halo's with yellow over them, if they could post a pic of how they look, or if someone is good with photoshop, render up a pic with yellowed out highbeam hids.

thanks.

unless your projectors are made for HID then dont. Your gonna bounce light everywhere, like most noobs. But it shouldnt burn anything.

HID will not damage the projector, make sure you aim them correctly so you dont piss off everyone on the road.

the highbeams are reflectors not projectors

and also.. do you have daytime running lights & how often do you even use high beams

you don't want to mix HIDs with your Daytime Running Lights

they're start to strobe like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YeKUhv_KRUw

You'd have to disable your daytimes to have HIDs in the middle headlights, and when it comes to driving with your high beams on, you'd be blinding anything infront of you
