Help with sway bar end links

I ordered some front sway bar end links from energy suspension. They were vertical pieces. When I looked at my car, the holes for the sway bar are horizontal. The ones that came off the car were L shaped. I was wondering if the straight energy suspension pieces will work with a horizontal sway bar? Or do I have to order another part? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Excactly. Mine is the pic on the right. They sent me ones for the sway bar on the left. So I want to know if you can use the ones made for the left pic on swaybars on the right pic.

Call Glenn. He can get you the rear ones that you want instead of the front ones that you got. And I'm sure he can get you a deal!

Energy Suspension said that they don't make the other kind, I don't think their right, with the time zone difference, the guy on the phone sounded like he just go out of bed. I think I'll hit up the stealership for them.

I think the GSR has the right strut bar because thats how mine are too. The left are the plain LS links...GSR ones are like a little mini tie rod...and alot more expensive.

$119.00 / each to be exact from the dealership. I found out that BLOX Racing makes them for $50.00 / pair. I'm going to pickup a set tonight front & back.

ahhh....the plot thickens. When you go on Energy Suspension's website there is a end note **GSR & Del Sol will only use 1/2 of the set** I don't know how you could use half, but I'm guessing that you could use the bushings and replace those, but mine popped out from the 90 degree elbow. It's made of plastic and it broke off.

why not use type-r' endlinks?

WildoutWhiteGSR Jul 17, 2007 12:37 AM

I can confirm that gsr's and newer ls's only use half. Two different types of end links.

see this is the weird thing. we looked at my sister-in-law's car (94rs) - like mine (the long one with the two bushings). my mom's old teg was over (95se4oor) - endlinks with the L shape. my brother's 94 RS 4door - like my endlinks. it's so random i can't figure out what kind of integra comes with what kind of endlinks.

Found out that BLOX Racing sells the "L" type end links for 50.00 / pair. I installed them and felt a huge difference between driving with no sway bars and with sway bars.
