HELP! Recommend Rim and Tire Package

Hey All,

I'm looking to upgrade my rims and tires very soon.

Currently I have:
-Front: 15" with tire P195/50R15
-Rear: 15" with tire P195/60R15
Don't ask me why the different tire size b/c thats how it came when i bought it...i still don't understand it either...lol

My car is not lowered and I am not planning to lower it either.

I was told 17" rims with 205/40R17 tires is the optimal rim and tire package to go with.

Anyone agree? Disagree? Have another size in mind?

If anyone has pictures with 16" or 17" rims on their teggie (hopefully that is not lowered either), I'd appreciated the post.

Thanks again

It is the right size you may want to lower the car - it will look strange with upsized wheels an a large wheel gap.

I'm assuming the car pic you posted was lowered...looks good either way!!

I'm really hesitent to lower my car b/c I'm moving out to the "country" in a few weeks and its kinda rural (some streets don't even have pavement...my god! lol)

So with not lowering the car, what rim and tire package would still look good?

before i forget, thanks JEFFOS69 for your input...much appreciated

staying stock or going with 16's will look better (maybe a 45 series tire on the 16's) or 15's with 50 series. I would lower it even still but maybe something minor like an inch or so. I mean - what is going to make or break you on ground clearance by 1 inch?
