I'm sure enough people on here have done swaps in the past the question is can anyone help me do mine I've seen people on here make a swap day at their house and a bunch of people come chill drink bear and swap the engine so for thoes who don't know I have my own shop I just don't swap lol but there will be an engine hoist and all the tools needed I just need some people for a guide as this engine is coming out of an ek with the swap. So I'm not setting a day yet I'm more so seeing who is willing and hopefully we can even make this a ti meet as there's plenty of room here let me know guys thanks

Well it actually works out because today my car started burning coolant bad so its going to be soon and I'm shooting for a weekend date I'll update soon with an actual date thanks guys

Gsr swap i just took it out of the ek and plan on sending the head for port and polish and just change the head gasket water pump timing belt etc and whatever else I can think of without spending alot

 

Hm we should set a stupid time to get it done. Let's say...4h? Haha could be done. Plus hoping for power tools? Then less :O

Lol I like your thinking but unfortunately my compessor just blew a couple of days ago :s lol but it took me and my buddy not having a clue what we were doing to take it out and it took about 6 and a half hours lol

 

Well I pulled my old engine out/ swapped trannies and reinstall took 4.5h with a bit of help from my brother. Extra pair of hands is always usefull. No power tools, in home garage

 

Power Tools FTW! They do wonders on LCA bolts, just asked Vida.

 

Damn you paul! I end up doing everything by hand/brute force lol

 

Brute force days are when you feel super accomplished. ahahah.

Bahahaha hammering out a ball joint with a 2.5lbs hammer after realising that the ball joint press tool doesn't fit on honda hub...most definitely deserves a turtle noise.
