help with buying a 94 Gs-r
 

Is there any common problems with the b18c1? I found a gs-r with a JDM b18c1(90k on the engine) and iam considering right now for the purchase. I would like to know what are their main weaknesses in these engines. Thanks for the help.

oil consumption.. 3rd gear grind.. honda rust

how bad is the oil consumption? worse than the h22? or about the same?
i know the h22 has a problem with the auto tensioner, is there any problem like that with these engines that i need to look out for?

H22's are worse, but it depends on how well the engine has been taken care of.
