hey guyz my car is in trouble its really messed up. well nways when in taking off from first gear the car is choking until i hit about 2800rpm when i get to second gear the rpm drops to 1100 then quickly jumps to 3000rpm <again choking> wat could the problem be ???? earlier during the day my ENGINE light comes on and i checked the ecu and it was blinking and it was code 7 <the throttle angle sensor circuit>. but couple of hours later it turned off and my rpm was jumping while in idle then i started driving the car the idle problem stoped and the choking problem started CAN SOMEONE HELP ME PLS THANX

 

maybe your TPS is loose?
Needs cleaning?

Also if your rpm is going all over the place maybe dizzy problem?

Sorry just trying to shoot you over to the area where i've had problems at.

yeah, check the tps.

turn the car off.
unplug the tps on the throttle body.
there are 3 pins in the connector.
use a multimeter and set it to read ohms resistance.
touch the multimeter leads to the two outside pins (i might be wrong which two, but you will figure it out)
the reading should be around .5 ohms resistance at closed throttle, turn the throttle wide open and the reading should be around 4.5 ohms resistance. if this is not the case, then you will need to adjust your tps so you get the proper readings at wot and fully closed.

 

hey guys i just found out that the TPS is cracked and i have to replace it and for me to replace it i have to change the whole throttle body with it i cant just buy a TPS so if anyone has a throttle body for a 90 integra 5speed let me know thanx guyz
