Heat Sensor

It's a 2000 Acura Integra,

For the past week, the heat sensor on my dash has been acting up. While i'm driving it moves from really cold, to really hot, and everything in between. My Rad fluid is topped off.

What's going on?

Meaning it probably needs to be replaced right?

I'm just trying to establish wether or not there's an overheating issue going on.

yea, it might end up getting towards an overheating problem. It shouldn't be much to replace, just use the honda part they are definately built the best (strongest).

Might also be your coolant temperature SENDER. not to be confused with sensor. Its located right under/beside the distributor. a single wire goes to it.. if memory serves its the closest one to the front of the car.

its about $15 at Canadian tire or anywhere else.

could be air in the system
