Just a senseless question for general knowledge, I have a Greddy Intake, and a DC Sports 4-2-1 Ceramic Header currently on my D15B VTEC engine, in the summer I wll be doing a B18C Type R or GSR swap in the summer, will my old intake and headers fit on the new engine or will they have to be replaced?

 

intake could could be reused, the header can't.

while we are on the compatibility topic would a gsr starter work on a b16?

 

d series parts cannot be used on b series motors. As for the starter, i'm pretty sure that it can be used but don't quote me on that

 

It depends on what kind of transmission you have.

 

^ yeah as far as i know as long as they are both either hydro or both cable trannies they should work
