H22 Swap Requirements?

Searched a couple of sites couldn't find anything.

Anybody here done an H22 swap into an 94-01 integra?

If so, what do you need?

I know I'd need:

wiring harness
engine mounts
h22 ecu

Do I use integra or h22 tranny?
What about axels?
Radiator?
Is the h22 ecu compatible with a 1995 LS(power windows/locks etc.)?
Do the fuel lines need to be custom made?
Is the stock LS fuel pump sufficent for the h22's demand?

What else do I need to consider?

it's alot of useless work for 30hp if you already have a GSR...plus the added weight = no good. the money spent on an h22 swap is enough to build your gsr to shred R's and H22's
but anyways...
you use the h22 tranny, i think custom axles, Civic rad is possible, not sure about fuel lines and pump

Custom axels?. Sounds like it's getting expensive. The swap isn't for my gsr, it's for my girlfreinds brothers LS. He trew a rod and pooched the engine. He has the opportunity to buy an usdm H22 for $1800 with 44k on it from a rear ended lude. I thought that sounded like a great deal even if we'd need to get mounts, etc. Anybody know of a reputable place that would do the labour on this swap?

Another option is to throw in a B18C or B18B for an easier install. Anybody know a good place to get one? He's gotta get this ride a drive train.

Just stick with the B-Series

The H22 engine is cheaper, but after buying all the necessary parts and about $1200-1500 in labour, you may as well have done a GSR motor (labour is only $600-1000).

Don't be fooled by all the cheaper mounts on the market, your best bet is a HAsport mount kit which goes for $600USD. You'll need DA Integra axles, the stock rad will work fine, and you'll need to run the Accord/Prelude shifter assembly and cables.

I haven't really looked into any H-series swaps lately, but I don't know how easy it'll be to keep A/C and PS.

Buy a GSR motor & ECU and you can use the stock wiring harness, axles, mounts, and keep cruise control, A/C, and PS. Just so much easier...

What are you goals? You staying NA or boosting? Don't forget about the bigger displacement you get with the H22 and more torque. But again, it all depends on your goals.

go to www.clubintegra.ca they are an integra club out ottawa and one of the members there has a H22 in his integra and he has had no reliability issues with it. If you have your heart set on a H22, Simon on that board I mentioned can help you. He drives all over ontario and he even drove down last year to meet me up for parts.

As said with previous members GSR or ITR would be your best bet if reliability is your concern.

Good Luck
