Got the rounded bolt off !!! Slider now seized.
 

I went to change the rear rotors and found that one of the caliper bracket bolts on each side on my Integra had the head rounded. I tried the Craftsman kit and it worked.


The Craftsman damaged bolt remover is amazing! Pure genious design, who ever thought of that was brillant: the spiral flutes.
Got both bolts off with some muscle. As long as it wasn't slipping it was easy to work with. I found one of the sliders seized. Has anyone free-ed up a slider? I have it soaking in oil. Or if anyone has a rear bracet for a 94 Integra let me know.

Yup, what I did was completely remove the bracket from the hub. Then I when to town on the slider by using BFH to hit it loose. After I got it loose, I pulled the slider out and cleaned off all the old grease both on the pin and inside the hole the slider pin resides on the caliper bracket. Then I grabbed some sandpaper and began sanding the rust/surface imperfections off of the slider pin. Once I was done that, I cleaned out the slider pin boot of all the old grease. Then I greased everything back up with some fresh brake caliper grease from crappy tire. It's in a black package that sits on top of the parts counter for like .25 cents.

Ya I went to town on it w/ a rubber mallet, it came lose.

What do you guys use for lubrication on your brakes.

Currently I use:

a)Anit Seize for the pad sliding area (because it doesn't wash off)
b)Silicon grease in the slider boot assym

Disc brake caliper lube for all brake lube points.

Lube your sliders every spring...or whenever you have the caliper off.

Check those boots for cracks and tears.

Preventative maintenance rocks :)
