Hey Guys!.. just wondering.. when do your guys gas light go on? casue what ive notice from driving my gf's car.. the gas light has nnnnnnnnnnever went on!... even at E!

probably the light bulb is fried
because when i have less than a half tank
mine always lights up when i go onto the hwy ramp
than it goes off when my cars is straight

 

cac. 2 things can be wrong
bulb itself or the sending unit leveler is not sending a signal

but it should light up well before E

 

Mine lights after after "e" Best way to check is when you fill up dummy light comes up between 37-40L done or 10 litres left. A tank holds 50L so when you fill up you should see where you are at.

Same issue happens to my teg when I go onto a highway ramp, tank will be less than half but well above E and the light will go on and then off then I'm on the hwy. I need to replace my sensor as the gas gauge will go up and down a bit regularly.

 

my light goes on when i have about 10 litres left - when i fill up it's usually about 35-40 litres

yea mine lights up after i pass the line.....you have lots of gas left there :P hahahaha

i remember once i called member speedking:

"yO, how far past the E can i go?""
"dude, it goes FAR past the E before you run outta gas....trust me".

 

Well my gas light comes on when there are 2 bars left of gas. Yesterday I just filled my tank and when I went to check the kms it said 517 kms. That's the most I have ever done in my car.

I would get your car checked out if that light never comes on.

We aren't so-mista-phic-ated like an S2K, we use a needle. No bars in our low budget cars.
